Contents of the video:
i) Creation of a grid in Arcview:
(the part where Autocad is used was supposed to show how to edit a topographic map in dwg. , but because of time limitations we dismissed this part)
- The environment of a project: Creating a new view, view units, adding shapes (0:05:00 - 0:14:00).
- Contour lines from a grid, and backward process: create a grid from contour lines (Contours-> TIN -> Grid) (0:15:00 - 0:24:00).
- Exporting a grid in Ascii format (for exchanging with Surfer, Transform, or our programmes in C, Fortran, etc) (0:24:00 - 0:25:00).

ii) Adding extensions-scripts:
- Adding extensions (avx, or ave extensions) (0:25:00 - 0:27:00). More extensions available for free - academic purposes- in:

- Running a script in ave. (0:27:00 - 0:29:00).
- Activating the extensions (avx) (0:29:00 - 0:30:00).

iii) Operations with grids:
- Overview of some functions available (0:30:00 - 0:35:00).
- Operations: Map calculator and map query (0:35:00 - 0:39:00).

iv) Layouts:
